This IS eerie. Is this the same lake where a guy was walking on it even though it didn't look frozen? Remember that photo?

Yup that's the same lake, and it's a big one, too. That other water walking dude was photographed about a kilometre further.
:iconnunheh:
One way to walk on water...it is kind of spookie.

Spooky because of the two hooded men waiting for the protagonist? I like how me, him and the two people are all propably a mile apart.
:iconnunheh:
I think spooky because you know they there, but it's too hard to guess there intentions. My recommendation is to find a place to hide until you can judge what the two-legs are up to.
Been the through several surgeries, some real pain and until recently, near psychological and spiritual collapse, but I did start Sunday on a painting based on one of your photos. While I was in the hospital My cat knocked over a very heavy Monitor some how and it landed on my camera, so it will be a while before I can submit a photo, but when I get it near completion I'll borrow something and post it.

How did she manage to knock a monitor over? That's some tough cat. Well I was on the shore, and the scene took place a good few hundred meters from my vantage point. But the guy in the foreground was probably surprised to see two hovering humanoids.
:iconnunheh:
I don't know. The thing was a monster. I've told several people to go to pick it up and they've all got the same look on their face. Damn! Monitors can't be this heavy!
Maybe my bother filled it with lead before he gave it to me. Anyway, its RIP for that monitor.
Put 2 scampers around and jumps onto surfaces at high speeds...if f=mv(2), and you think of velocity as the determing factor in force, maybe a ten pound cat flying into it could move it enough to tip it over. That's the best theory I've got.

Hovering humanoids...humanoids to be avoided at almost all costs (unless you're saving a fair maiden or your cat.)

If that thing is trinitron based then that's exactly the kind of monitor I'd like to buy right now. The LCD I have simply isn't capable of reproducing as many colors as even a cheap CRT monitor... Price is right too, one of the better ones can be had for the equivalent of 80-100$ w/shipping (they're unpopular, therefore cheap, since everyone goes LCD). Currently I have two on my desk, a 19" LCD and a 17" CRT so I can compare side by side. I like LCD for sharpness and lack of flicker and CRT for everything else.
The humans are ice fishing so hovering is a must not to scare the fishies. That's my theory.
